Each year, Islands of Adventure transforms Seuss Landing for the holidays into Grinchmas! The Whos of Whoville can be found decorating, singing, spreading holiday cheer, performing The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, and hosting the Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast over at Circus McGurkus. This breakfast is one of the toughest holiday reservations to secure at Universal Orlando; largely because the guest of honor, The Grinch, meets guests throughout the dining experience. The standard meet & greet for The Grinch often posts wait times of more than two hours. This breakfast lets you skip that line, mingle with some iconic Whos, and enjoy elevated Dr. Seuss themed breakfast dishes. While the $59 price tag might seem steep, offerings like barbecue brisket, Dubai-chocolate–inspired French toast, and quiche, promise a more refined culinary experience. Although, we don't think most people consider the aesthetic of Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-Pendous refined—but that’s part of the charm. Year after year, this remains one of our favorite Universal Orlando holiday offerings. The food can be hit or miss, but the dynamic atmosphere, one-of-a-kind character interactions, and the chance to meet the Jim Carrey–inspired Grinch we grew up with truly make this feel special.
