This is Part 3 of our 4-part series where we dine at every table-service restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom to find out which one we think is the BEST! This series includes detailed reviews of Yak & Yeti, Tusker House, Tiffins, and Rainforest Cafe. To be honest, before dining here, we expected this to be the weakest option of the bunch. For those who don't know, Rainforest Cafe is run by Landry's. It's a chain restaurant that's intricately themed to a rainforest, with a dining area packed full of animatronic animals. The experience here can be a little too stimulating for some, but it's often a favorite among younger guests. The cuisine is an amalgamation of different culinary styles. Interestingly enough, Landry's also operates Yak & Yeti, another restaurant located in Disney's Animal Kingdom that we consider to be one of the best restaurants in Walt Disney World. In this video, we attempt to remove our bias and see if the experience here can overcome what we've felt in the past was mediocre cuisine. We explore the animals, shows, and theming, and try the majority of their signature menu items. At the end, we compare Rainforest Cafe to Yak & Yeti to determine whether this location is truly worth visiting or just another tourist trap.
