Universal Epic Universe changed the landscape of theme park food. Standard carnival or amusement park fare has long been synonymous with most parks. Items like pretzels, corn dogs, popcorn, and funnel cake can rarely be considered healthy. While Epic Universe offers new takes on these classic bites, it also does something groundbreaking; there’s legitimate nutritious, somewhat healthy food on its quick-service menus. Das Stakehaus offers grilled chicken with chimichurri seasoning, Celestial Park features a variety of fresh, flavorful salads, and Isle of Berk serves up delicious (what we assume is) fresh-caught fish. The snacks here have come a long way from what was previously offered at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure years ago. Because of that, we decided to head back to Epic Universe to chow down and count down our top 10 healthy eats! A lot has changed since our last visit. That said, we’re also including one very unhealthy, but worthy, notable mention: the NEW Bread Pudding at Mead Hall. Throughout the day, we capture the scenic ambiance and lighter bites Epic Universe has to offer. We’ve done a lot of eating here, and we’re putting these dishes to the test to see if the quality remains consistent. Join us for an epic day of food and fun at Central Florida’s newest theme park!
