In 2012, celebrity Chef Jose Andres opened a food truck in Washington D.C. called Pepe. The cuisine focuses on Spanish Sandwiches with some options inspired by classic American cuisine. In 2019, Jose Andres opened his table service restaurant, Jaleo, at Disney Springs. Attached to Jaleo, is his first brick & mortar Pepe quick service restaurant. This quick service restaurant has eluded us for some time. We've never heard much about it from Walt Disney World fans and Google has its business profile sitting at a 3.5 star rating which is considered quite low for the area. We recently saw some promotional material online for Pepe due to a media event they had. The food intrigued us. Especially the famed Pepe Burger, which uses ribeye meat and a special sauce to enhance the flavor. Due to this, we wanted to see if Pepe really deserves its 3.5 star rating on Google. Could it be better? That's what this video is about. We break down the entire Pepe menu and go over the signature options to see if this restaurant should get more recognition. Swirls on the Water at Disney Springs also has brand new Dole Whip options. For dessert we tried out their new Bananas Foster & Sea Salt Caramel Swirl Sundae and a Chocolate & Mint Swirl Cone. See our thoughts, favorite eats, and if this truly is the best dole whip we've ever had.
