Disney's Caribbean Beach is considered Walt Disney World's first moderate resort. The term "moderate" refers to the price point as staying here isn't as costly as a Deluxe or as cost effective as a Value Resort. Caribbean Beach is vast. The resort is sectioned off into different Caribbean Islands like Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad. It's lobby is themed after Old Port Royale with an attached food court reminiscent of a Caribbean Market. The pool is themed to resemble an old Spanish Fortress. More recently, Caribbean Beach made available a unique all you care to eat restaurant situated on the dock next to the pool called Sebastian's Bistro. The restaurant is themed after Disney's animated classic, The Little Mermaid. Patrons are guests of Ariel's crabby friend Sebastian as they dine on an all you care to eat selection of Caribbean delicacies. The most famous offering here is the Coconut Pineapple Bread Pudding. Considering the new live action Little Mermaid just released in theaters we found it fitting to finally give this restaurant a formal review. There's a lot to unpack here and thankfully we had our friends John and Joanna with us to help expand our palates and explore the wide array of culinary offerings available. See our thoughts, takes, review and full experience of this unique Walt Disney World eatery.
