Each of the Magic Kingdom Resorts is designed to emulate a different area of the park, with Wilderness Lodge designed to thematically complement Frontierland. Its interior was inspired by the Old Faithful Inn, in Yellowstone National Park. Large Oak Trees, sourced from both Oregon and Montana, tower above guests with animals carvings peering down and Native American Teepees adorning the lights. The scale of the lobby and grounds invites guests to use their imagination as a means to explore a rustic wonderland while relaxing at a luxury hotel. This resort was designed by, Peter Dominick. The same architect that brought Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Grand Californian Hotel, to life. All of these resorts are considered Disney's BEST. Due to its proximity to Magic Kingdom, beautiful landscaping, and awe inspiring detail, many Walt Disney World fans consider Wilderness Lodge to be their favorite. Staying here was a dream for us and thanks to our friends Chad and Venessa from Two Tickets to Adventure, we had the privilege to spend a night here. During this stay we explored and attempted to capture everything we could. This video includes a detailed tour of the grounds, both pools, the NEW refurbished rooms, all the restaurants, dining, subtle details, hidden pathways and history that Disney's Wilderness Lodge has to offer. We also go over the can't miss food and unique offerings here. See our thoughts, review and full experience during our DREAM stay at Walt Disney World's Frontierland themed resort.
