NEW Menu at The Hollywood Brown Derby! Is It Better? Disney's Hollywood Studios

The Hollywood Brown Derby, located at Disney's Hollywood Studios Park, is a replica restaurant based on the second Brown Derby Restaurant. Existing during Hollywood's Golden Era, the Brown Derby had a chain of 4 restaurants with The Hollywood Brown Derby being its most notable due to frequent visits to the restaurant by famous Hollywood stars and starlets. When Walt Disney World opened Disney's Hollywood Studios, The Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant was its signature table service restaurant. Since then, a lot has changed at the park but this Brown Derby has stayed mostly the same. Menu items popularized by original Brown Derby Chef, Bob Cobb, are still available on the menu. However, the experience has been a little inconsistent in recent years. We felt the quality fell slightly when this restaurant reopened after its lengthy pandemic shutdown. Although, we still came back multiple times for the classic Cobb Salad and Grapefruit Cake. Recently, the menu was revamped for the Spring Season. The change up sees a reimagining to some classic dishes, like the Filet Mignon, the the addition of some new items like a Grilled Ōra King Salmon. This is our favorite restaurant at Hollywood Studios and we wanted to head out and see if this freshened up menu ushers in the renaissance this replica restaurant needs. We go over all the new items, try out the majority of them, sample their signature desserts, and see if The Hollywood Brown Derby remains one of Walt Disney World's BEST in-park restaurants.
