On Father's Day weekend 2023, Universal Studios Orlando soft opened Minion Land. This area replaces what was formerly known as production central. It's a colorful array of shops, dining and features a new ride called

Villain Con. While Villain Con has yet to open, the shops and dining are currently available on a limited basis to patrons of Universal Studios Orlando.
