This Hidden Disney World Restaurant Just Changed! Is It Better? Turf Club Review
The Turf Club Bar & Grill at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort was recently refurbished, and we stopped by to check out the changes and try all the brand new menu items! Located right next to Disney Springs, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort attempts to capture the aesthetic and scenic ambiance of Saratoga Springs, New York. With horse racing playing a key role in the history of this upstate New York hamlet, many of the resort's core theming elements, along with its main lounge and signature restaurant, pay homage to the sport. The Turf Club sits right across from a golf course and just a short distance from Disney Springs. Despite being what Disney considers a signature restaurant, this lounge and table-service eatery can often feel like an afterthought. In the past, we've found the dishes here to be hit or miss. At one point, we even considered their Prime Rib one of the better deals at Disney World (but that has since changed). With this refurbishment came a brighter dining area, new carpeting, and an array of new dishes. When we heard about the changes, we were quite surprised and asked ourselves: Has the Turf Club gotten better? Well, we stopped by to find out! Join us for some Saratoga Springs history and interesting eats as we figure out whether Disney has made The Turf Club Bar & Grill a little more magical.
