This video is part 4 of our 5 part series where we dine at our top 5 favorite restaurants at Disney's Hollywood Studios to see which we think is the BEST! The restaurants in this series are Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, 50's Prime Time Cafe, Minnie's Seasonal Dine at Hollywood & Vine, Round Up Rodeo BBQ, and The Hollywood Brown Derby. Located at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard, The Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney's Hollywood Studios is designed to resemble the second Brown Derby Restaurant. The menu focuses on dishes that are linked to this historic landmark. For instance, the Cobb Salad and Grapefruit Cake were both invented by Bob Cobb at the original Hollywood Brown Derby. Subsequently, both dishes make appearances on the menu and are created using the original recipes. In the interior guests are greeted by an autograph book signed by notable stars and starlets that dined here. The walls are adorned with caricatures of famous Hollywood actors and actress. Dim lighting and brown ascents are meant to provide guests an upscale signature table service dining experience. Out of all the restaurants on this list, this is the one we frequent the most. The outdoor lounge makes getting into this restaurant pretty accessible, even without a reservation. While the food feels the most elevated in the park. This is, no doubt, the restaurant that most perfectly captures the essence of golden age of Hollywood that the front of this park is themed after. However, The Hollywood Brown Derby does have a few shortcomings. Join us, while we dine at one of our favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World and see whether this is restaurant truly brings the movie magic.
