Is Rosa Mexicano Disney World's BEST Mexican Restaurant?

Josefina Howard opened Rosa Mexicano's first location in 1984. Her goal was to bring high quality Mexican cuisine to New York City and now her 18th location is hoping to do the same thing for Walt Disney World. This fine dining Mexican Restaurant is located in the Dolphin section of Disney's Swan & Dolphin Resorts. These resorts are actually owned and operated by the same hotel group that runs Marriot hotels and are nestled into what's considered the Epcot Resort area. Subsequently, Patrons have boat access to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios as well as a walking path to Epcot. The walk only takes about 15 minutes. In our opinion, Epcot's Mexican Restaurants leave something to be desired. Since reopening post-pandemic, both La Hacienda and the San Angel Inn have gone down in quality. However, Rosa Mexicano is only a short boat ride or walk from Epcot and, in our opinion, this restaurant provides higher quality Mexican Cuisine. Prior to filming, we hadn't been here in about two years. Our last video at Rosa Mexicano focused on their opening and signature offerings. Since our last visit a lot has changed, both at Walt Disney World and at the Swan & Dolphin. We went back to see if this is still our favorite Disney World Mexican Restaurant. See our thoughts, favorite eats, what's new, and whether we think Rosa Mexicano is worth leaving Epcot for.
