Step inside Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante, where Disney Springs transforms into a storybook 1930s airline terminal brought back to life. This immersive dining experience is themed as a once-abandoned aviation hub, lovingly restored by an Italian couple—Maria and Enzo. Enzo, a former airline pilot, chose to turn the terminal into a ristorante, blending his passion for flight with his love of food. Only at Walt Disney World can guests enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in such a unique setting. Maria & Enzo’s is one of two Italian restaurants at Disney Springs, the other being Terralina Crafted Italian. However, what sets Maria & Enzo’s apart is its menu, crafted by native Italian and Michelin-recognized Chef Theo Schoenegger. We hadn’t dined here in nearly five years, and with entrées reaching up to $49, we returned to see if Maria & Enzo’s still delivers—or if Terralina deserves the title of Disney Springs’ top Italian spot. While we agree the food is high quality, the experience has its quirks—such as the surprising lack of bread service at a restaurant claiming authentic Italian roots. In this video, we walk you through our full dining experience at Maria & Enzo’s. We sample their signature dishes, explore the story and décor, and look at how this restaurant ties into the larger narrative of Disney Springs. Most importantly, we ask: Can Maria & Enzo’s strike the balance between being authentically Disney and authentically Italian?
