This video is the finale of our five-part series where we dine at our five favorite Italian restaurants at Walt Disney World to see which one we think is the BEST. The restaurants featured in this series are Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park, Il Mulino at the Swan Resort, Via Napoli at EPCOT, and Ravello at the Four Seasons Orlando. At the end of this video, we rank each restaurant from five to one based on the experience we had, with the number one spot earning the title of our BEST Disney World Italian ristorante. When we first conceived the idea for this series, we expected Ravello to be the clear frontrunner. It’s the only restaurant on this list that is Michelin-recognized and holds a platinum-level Italian taste test certification from Italy’s ITA0039 organization. When the nation of Italy says a restaurant is authentic, you can generally trust that assessment. The pasta is made fresh in-house, the pizza is prepared to the same standards as pizza in Italy, and the price point is reasonable compared to other restaurants on property. Ravello is also housed inside one of the fanciest resorts on Walt Disney World property, the Four Seasons Orlando. The Four Seasons is located within Walt Disney World’s multi-million-dollar development known as Golden Oak. Because of this, guests must pass through security to enter the property, and no general parking is available. All patrons of the Four Seasons or its affiliated restaurants must valet park. To be honest, every restaurant had a strong showing. While Ravello certainly delivers on authenticity, we can’t deny that our personal experiences play a role in how each restaurant ranks. As former New Yorkers who grew up in Italian households and visited Italy, we found that each of these restaurants has its own strengths and flaws. Join us as we wrap up our multi-week Italian feast and see which ristorante on Walt Disney World property can claim the title of BEST.
