Epcot's International Festival of the Holidays is BACK with even more cookies, Holiday Storytellers, unique characters, and festive entertainment. This year’s Cookie Stroll features a bunch new treats, including a Prototype Cookie, a Ginger–Molasses Cookie, a reimagined Mickey-shaped Black & White Cookie, and a Maple Leaf Shortbread Cookie. There are 13 cookies available throughout Epcot, but guests only need to purchase five to complete the stroll. The completer prize for 2025 is a festively themed Disney spatula, available at Holiday Sweets and Treats. But honestly, the entertainment is what sets Festival of the Holidays apart from every other Epcot festival. New this year at the Germany Pavilion is Adventskalender, an Advent-calendar-themed puppet show. Fan favorites like La Befana, Père Noël, Father Christmas, Barn Santa, and more are also returning to spread holiday cheer. Characters are another big reason to visit Epcot during this season, and there’s a fun change this year. Instead of Santa Claus greeting guests inside the Odyssey Building, Santa Goofy has stepped in. Meanwhile, Santa himself has moved over to CommuniCore Hall, bringing a little extra holiday magic and setting up shop right next to the Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow. Honestly, it’s a perfect spot for the cookie-loving Saint Nick. We visited Walt Disney World's most festive festival on its first weekend to check out everything new! We complete the Cookie Stroll, try every new cookie (plus sneak in a few returning favorites), catch the new Germany puppet show, taste a bunch of new dishes, and compare the 2025 Festival of the Holidays to years past. Join us for a merry good time at Jay’s favorite Epcot festival!
