Giant gingerbread displays have become an integral part of the holidays at Walt Disney World. This year, Disney’s most iconic display, the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House, is precariously missing. Despite this, there are still plenty of other bombastic Christmas creations to explore, and the EPCOT Resort Area might be hiding the must-see display of the season. At Disney’s Beach Club Resort sits a working carousel made entirely of candy and gingerbread. This carousel is celebrating its 25th anniversary, complete with appropriately themed eats and drinks available right in the main lobby. Across the bay at Walt Disney World’s BoardWalk Resort is another display. While not quite as technically impressive, this gingerbread house resembles the BoardWalk Deli and features numerous dynamic elements, hidden details, and possibly the best holiday-themed treats of the season.
