Six years ago, we were married on the top deck of Paddlefish! This steamboat is a quintessential feature of the Disney Springs skyline and is steeped in Walt Disney World history. While Paddlefish is the name of the restaurant housed inside the ship, the actual vessel is called the Empress Lilly. Christened by Walt Disney’s wife, Lillian Disney, in 1977, the Empress Lilly has been a mainstay through every iteration of Disney Springs; from its early years as Lake Buena Vista Village and Walt Disney World Village, to its time as Downtown Disney, and now Disney Springs. Since moving to Florida, it’s become a tradition for us to visit Paddlefish on our anniversary and provide an updated review of their cuisine and table service experience. We go over their can’t miss options, including one of our favorite Disney Springs delicacies: Lobster Corn Dogs! We also highlight their signature entrées and desserts, show off the views from where we were married, and share our thoughts on our special day. Join us for a night celebrating love and underrated Disney eats at the most magical place on Earth.
