This is Part 1 of our 4-part series where we dine at every table-service restaurant inside Disney's Animal Kingdom to figure out which one we think is the BEST! This series includes reviews of Tiffins, Yak & Yeti Restaurant, Rainforest Cafe, and Tusker House. Tusker House is the signature character buffet at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. Located in the Africa section, the interior is designed to resemble a fictional African marketplace, complete with culturally inspired cuisine and rooms filled with artifacts Imagineering retrieved while visiting Africa during the research and development of the park. The meal is hosted by Donald Duck and features his pals Daisy Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Goofy. These Disney characters are decked out in their safari attire and occasionally roam the restaurant for a wild dance party. Out of all the restaurants in this series, this was the only one we hadn’t dined at before. The buffet offerings reminded us of Boma - Flavors of Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.
